About the event
Calgary Junior Felix Zhang will take us on a journey though his chess career. From 0 - 1900 rated, talking about the tools he used for improvement, the roadblocks he faced and how he overcame them. With real life examples from his tournaments he will conduct an interactive 2h lesson for 20 lucky students.
After the lesson there will be a chance to play in a simul (everyone plays vs Felix at the same time on different boards)
This event is for competitive kids and adults alike and serves tournament players between 1100 and 2000 best
Check in at 12:40pm Wednesday September 30th 2026
Event starts sharp at 1pm with the interactive lesson (1 break in between)
Simul starts at 3pm
