About the event
All participants must have a CFC (Canadian Chess Federation) ID. To find out the player's CFC ID number visit: https://www.chess.ca/en/ratings/ and enter your name. If you have never played official tournament chess in Canada, you will need to create a free account on the CFC website which will allow you to have a CFC number. Tournament Capacity: 30 max; Full week camp students have free entry and are included in the tournament without signup Head Tournament Director: Bijan D. Shafa Time Control: 20min Rapid or 15min Rapid Prizes: Top 3 players in each section will receive medals Sections: Beginner U900, Intermediate U1400, Open (Sections may be merged depending on number of participants) Tie-Break Procedure:
